Waiheke Wine & Photography
By Robert Peper & Randy Weaver
Picture

Intro:

A full day photographic experience at some of Waiheke Island's top boutique wineries

This is an exclusive behind the scenes workshop, including wine tasting, tapas and lunch, together with lots of photographic opportunities and tuition.

Besides Robert supporting you with your photographic needs, we also have our own personal wine expert Randy and different winemakers to discuss their winemaking philosophies. Sounds good, right? It really is the best of both worlds.

We have arranged exclusive access to private vineyard areas, where regular tours can't go, a photo shoot with winemakers, sampling grapes directly from the vine, comparing with the actual wine produced and tasting from barrels; isn't that cool?

At the end of the day we will have explored country roads, enjoyed stunning land- and seascapes, refined your photographic skills, and no matter your level of wine expertise, you will be sure to have enhanced it.

Itinerary
  1. Destiny Bay vineyard, located at a beautiful hillside. This a stunning photographic location and we'll be visiting their barrel cellars as well.
  2. Casita Miro vineyard, inspired by Barcelona's Gaudie architecture, is just magnificent and so are the imported Spanish sherries; we will be tasting five exquisite sherries, each paired with small tapas. You'll love it; trust me!
  3. A photo stop at Onetangi beach.
  4. Picnic at Goldie Estate under an iconic Pohutukawa tree with wide views of the vineyard and Putaki Bay plus wine tasting and presentation by Randy about Goldies' history and his winemaking and teaching involvement.
  5. Auckland cityscape photography from Mudbrick vineyards.
Included

Another Wow day with NZPT
I had a fabulous day once again with NZPT.
Waiheke Wine & Photography tour was excellent, the company superb, the food which they supplied out of this world, the weather was perfect and photography opportunities plentiful.

We were informed, taught, tasted and tempted, toured the island in style, laughed and enjoyed the day immensely.

I would highly recommend and felt it was great value for the $.
Thank you Robert & Randy, you two made it very special.
